Hon’ble National President of Bharatiya Janata Party, Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda addressed a public meeting in Amethi, Uttar Pradesh on Tuesday. During his address, he strongly criticized the policy of appeasement practiced by the INDI Alliance and the Congress and highlighted the achievements of the Modi government in the past 10 years. During the event, Amethi Lok Sabha MP and Candidate Smt Smriti Irani, Shri Ram Prasad Mishra, Shri Govind Shukla, Shri Praveen Singh and others were present.

BJP National President stated that this election is not just about electing Smt Smriti Irani as a Member of Parliament from Amethi, but it is a "Sankalp Yatra" to fulfill the vision of "Viksit Bharat" under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. It is an election to elect Shri Narendra Modi as Prime Minister for the third time. In the ten years before and after Shri Narendra Modi became Prime Minister, there has been a significant difference in India's political landscape.

Shri Nadda emphasized that a decade ago, the common man in India had resigned to the belief that politics would never change, that nothing would change in India, and that we would always remain backward. However, today, under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the ordinary citizen of India is walking with the belief that India has progressed with the pledge of "Viksit Bharat."

National President of BJP highlighted the shift in the definition of Indian politics and its leaders over the past ten years. Previously, it was defined by appeasement, vote bank politics, casteism and regionalism. However, now, Indian politics has shifted towards development, the politics of progress. The common man today seeks development, and it is Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi who has fulfilled their aspirations. Today, the era of appeasement politics has ended, and when BJP leaders take the stage, they speak of development, they discuss the report card, and they highlight the developmental works done by the BJP government. They narrate what they promised and what they have delivered.

Hon’ble Shri Nadda stated that the Hon'ble Prime Minister has advanced a politics centered on development, without appeasement towards any group, aiming to ensure satisfaction for all. Hon'ble Prime Minister has abolished casteism, nepotism, and regionalism, advancing in a politics focused on development under the guiding principle of "Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas." Presently, the nation is experiencing a politics of performance. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the global economy encountered significant hurdles. Nonetheless, under the leadership of Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, India's economy has surged from the 11th to the 5th position globally. Following the victory of Smt. Smriti Irani and Shri Narendra Modi's reelection as Prime Minister, India is poised to ascend to the rank of the world's third-largest economy within the next two years. It took 28 years for tuberculosis medicine, 23-25 years for diphtheria medicine, 25 years to introduce tetanus medicine to India, and 100 years for jaundice medicine in India. But now India has become the world's second-largest pharmaceutical producer and exporter. India has transformed into a global pharmacy and is known for manufacturing some of the most affordable and potent medicines worldwide.

Respected Shri Nadda stated that under the leadership of Shri Narendra Modi, India's 'Vaccine Maitri' initiative facilitated the development of not one, but two vaccines within nine months. These vaccines were then exported to 100 countries, and India generously provided vaccines free of cost to 48 countries, showcasing a commitment to global health solidarity and cooperation. Today, India under the leadership of Shri Narendra Modi is not a nation that seeks, but one that gives. During congress leaders from Pt. Nehru and Indira Gandhi to Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi, India was dependent. Now, under Shri Narendra Modi's leadership, India is a nation that contributes. India ranks third in petrochemical exports and has surpassed Japan to become the third-largest automobile market globally. Moreover, with the 'Made in India' initiative, there has been a significant increase in domestic manufacturing, particularly in mobile phones, with 97% of them now being produced in India. To further strengthen this evolving India, it is essential to secure victories for leaders like Smt. Smriti Irani.

Hon’ble Shri Nadda stated that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has, with his policies, empowered the village, poor, marginalized, Dalit, youth, farmers and women. Under the Pradhan Mantri Gareeb Kalyan Ann Yojana, 5 kg of wheat or 5 kg of rice and 1 kg of lentils are being provided per person per month to 80 crore people. This has made a significant impact, as even the IMF acknowledged that 25 crore people in India have moved out of poverty, and the extreme poverty in India has reduced to less than 1%. Optical fiber has been extended to 2 lakh villages. Previously, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi used to claim that India is illiterate and digital work is impossible here. However, today, even the vegetable vendor and the laborer working in the fields in India conduct digital transactions. Two lakh common service centers have been established in villages. Through the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojna, villages have been connected to main roads. Through the PM Ujjwala Yojana Gas connections have been provided to households, and in the next five years, gas will be delivered through pipelines. Under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, 4 crore pucca houses have been provided to the public, out of which 40 lakh pucca houses in every panchayat, complete with a drawing room, bedroom, courtyard, kitchen with gas connection and toilet facilities.

Shri Nadda stated that Shri Narendra Modi has pledged to construct 3 crore new houses. Additionally, it has been determined that the electricity bills for households will be waived, and solar energy systems will be installed in every household under the Pradhan Mantri Muft Har Ghar Surya Yojana, ensuring free electricity for all. The savings from electricity will be utilized by the government, enhancing people's income sources and saving their money. Over the next five years, 3 crore women will benefit from the Lakhpati Didi Yojana. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has initiated the world's largest health scheme, Ayushman Bharat, providing annual health coverage of up to ₹500,000 to fight serious illnesses, benefiting 10 crore 74 lakh families and 50 crore people, with 40% of India's population covered. It has been decided that anyone above the age of 70, regardless of their mother tongue, caste, religion, creed, place of residence, or income, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will provide a health cover of ₹500,000 under Ayushman Bharat.

Respected Shri Nadda highlighted that through the Jal Jeevan Mission, 11 crore households have gained access to water, including 2 crore households in Uttar Pradesh receiving 'Har Ghar Nal, Har Ghar Jal', benefiting 3 lakh households in Amethi alone. Approximately 28 km of national highways are being constructed daily, totaling nearly 60 thousand km already built. Railway budgets have seen a nineteen-fold increase, while the number of airports has doubled in the aviation sector, from 74 to 148. An industrial corridor for defense is being developed in Amethi, connecting six major cities, opening of 27 medical colleges, and establishing five green field corridors. Railway budgets have increased by nineteen times, and work is underway for 7 Vande Bharat trains. Witnessing the changing landscape of Amethi fills me with enthusiasm. Ten years ago, it was unclear whether there were potholes on the road or roads in the potholes. Today, the network of concrete roads spreading from village to village is the result of Smt. Smriti Irani's hard work and the generosity of Shri Narendra Modi.

Hon’ble Shri Nadda stated that from a developmental perspective, significant progress is being made in Uttar Pradesh. Regional rapid transport projects are being completed. Furthermore, development initiatives are underway for the operation of five metro trains. Over the past five years in Amethi, five warehouses for fertilizer storage with a capacity of 11,000 metric tons each have been constructed. Similarly, agricultural science centers have been established, six agricultural welfare centers have been set up, and the B.R. Ambedkar Stadium is undergoing renovation. Prime Minister Kaushal Vikas Kendras are being established and construction of a hospital with 50 beds is underway, and a medical college has been inaugurated in Tiloi. Today, the image of villages has transformed, empowering women and providing strength to the youth.

Shri Nadda highlighted the transformation of Amethi from being unfortunate in the past to fortunate today. In the past, candidates would come to Amethi and evoke the memories of Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru invoked the name of Indira Gandhi, only to win elections and then forget about the plight of the people. Despite numerous victories of the Gandhi family, the people of Amethi lived in darkness for years due to the lack of electricity and roads in thousands of villages. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and the relentless efforts of Smt. Smriti Irani, Amethi has now progressed significantly, marking a change in its fate.

Respected Shri Nadda described the people of Amethi as fortunate today because of a leader like Smt. Smriti Irani, who tirelessly worked alongside the community to transform the landscape and destiny of Amethi. Her unwavering dedication and relentless efforts have left an indelible mark not only in Amethi and Uttar Pradesh but across the nation. Shri JP Nadda emphasized the need to bring such leaders forward in politics to lead the nation.

Shri Nadda emphasized that there was a candidate who fled not just once but multiple times—from Amethi to Wayanad, and from Wayanad to Raebareli—never to return to Amethi. This reflects upon the character, political caliber, and courage of such leaders. Allowing individuals who merely seek a seat, indulge in leisure, and then swiftly move on to explore new territories is unacceptable. This voice should also resonate in Raebareli, reminding them of the consequences of neglecting the people of Amethi and their responsibilities towards others. Their politics revolves around immediate gains without any concern for the future or the welfare of the people.

Hon’ble Shri Nadda stated that on one side stands Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, who envisions placing India with the commitment of "Viksit Bharat" on the global stage, and on the other side is the INDI Alliance, which is disconnected from the public and is only concerned with their own family and corruption. This alliance includes parties led by Farooq Abdullah, Sukhbir Badal, Chautala, Akhilesh Yadav, Dimple Yadav, Lalu Yadav, Rabri Devi, Tejashwi Yadav, Mamata Banerjee, Abhishek Banerjee, Kavitha, KCR, KTR, Stalin, Sharad Pawar, Supriya Sule, Aditya Thackrey, Uddhav Thackrey, Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, and Priyanka Gandhi, all focused solely on preserving their family interests while neglecting the needs of the public. INDI Alliance’s agenda remains centered around "Save the Family, Enjoy the Moment."

Shri Nadda pointed out that the INDI alliance shows little concern for the welfare of the people and is primarily driven by dynastic politics. In contrast, Prime Minister Shri Modi advocates for a progressive vision, while the INDI alliance perpetuates dynastic politics. While PM Shri Modi champions the cause of "Bhrashtachar Hatao", the INDI alliance seems more focused on "Bharashtachariyon ko Bachao". BJP comprises individuals from humble backgrounds, but the INDI alliance thrives on nepotism and dynastic principles.

Respected Shri Nadda then proceeded to outline a series of corruption allegations against the Congress, spanning various scandals including the coal scam, Submarine scandal, AgustaWestland helicopter deal, rice and coal scams, as well as irregularities in CWG, 2G, and 3G spectrum allocations over three terms. Additionally, he shifted focus to other political parties, accusing leaders like Akhilesh Yadav of corruption in the Gomti Riverfront project and laptop distribution, Arvind Kejriwal of involvement in alcohol and medicine scandals, DMK leaders in land deals, TMC ministers in teacher recruitment scams, and K. Kavitha in alcohol-related corruption.

Shri Nadda highlighted a pattern of mutual protection among these alleged wrongdoers, symbolized by leaving empty chairs at rallies for jailed leaders. These chairs were reserved for individuals like Arvind Kejriwal and Hemant Soren, who were either incarcerated or out on bail. Figures such as Rahul Gandhi, Sonia Gandhi, P. Chidambaram, Karti Chidambaram, Misa Yadav, and Lalu Yadav, alongside Arvind Kejriwal, are out on bail, while others like Manish Sisodia, Satyendra Jain, Hemant Soren, and Azam Khan are currently in jail. These leaders aligned with the INDI Alliance as either "out on Bail or in Jail" and emphasized the necessity of preventing such corrupt individuals from assuming leadership positions.

Hon’ble Shri Nadda stated that nowadays Rahul Gandhi roams around with a copy of the Constitution, accusing the BJP of planning to revoke reservations. It's akin to the pot calling the kettle black. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has explicitly stated that as long as he is alive and the BJP is in power, no one can touch the reservations for tribal, Dalit, and backward communities. However, one must ask Rahul Gandhi whether he has ever championed reservations for Dalits in Andhra Pradesh or worked towards uplifting Muslims from marginalization. Despite claims, Muslims continue to face discrimination. In Karnataka, the Congress government revoked OBC reservations to grant them to Muslims, only to have the BJP restore OBC reservations upon coming into power. Yet, when the Congress returned to power in Karnataka, they once again redirected OBC reservations to Muslims. Rahul Gandhi parades with the Constitution, conveniently ignoring Baba Saheb Ambedkar's decree that reservations should never be based on religion.

Shri Nadda stated that the INDI Alliance opposes Shri Ram and Sanatan Dharma, and they support anti-national forces. During the UPA government led by Dr. Manmohan Singh, they filed an affidavit in court stating that Lord Ram is mythical, lacking historical or scientific evidence. Kapil Sibal even suggested delaying the Ram Mandir case in court to benefit the BJP politically. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the path to the Ram Mandir was paved, and on January 22nd, a grand Ram Mandir was built, culminating in the "Pran Pratishtha" of Shri Ram. Shri JP Nadda pointed out that INDI Alliance for being "Sanatan Virodhi" and the nation, Uday Nidhi Stalin compared Sanatan to diseases like dengue and malaria, while A. Raja likened it to HIV. He also emphasized that individuals like Rahul Gandhi, Sonia Gandhi, and Priyanka Gandhi are quiet.

Respected Shri Nadda highlighted the anti-national stance of the INDI Alliance, citing instances such as their reactions during the Batla House encounter when terrorists were being apprehended. He pointed to Salman Khurshid's disclosure that tears were seen in Sonia Gandhi's eyes at the time. Additionally, he pointed out slogans like "Afzal Hum Sharminda Hain, Tere Qatil Zinda Hain" raised at Jawaharlal Nehru University. Through Rahul Gandhi's association with these incidents, Nadda emphasized their disregard for the nation and its interests. The rhetoric "Bharat Tere Tukde Honge, Inshah Allah Inshah Allah!" used by some, indicating a divisive agenda. Despite this, Rahul Gandhi aligns himself with these anti national forces and has been nominated as a Lok Sabha election candidate. This alignment suggests their support for anti-national elements.

National President of BJP, Shri Nadda emphasized the contrast between those weakening the nation and those leading it forward under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. He urged the voters to elect Smt Smriti Irani in the elections and bring Amethi back on the path of victory and progress on the national map.
