BJP Delhi Pradesh President Shri Virendra Sachdeva and MP Shri Manoj Tiwari jointly addressed a press conference at the party's central office, on Thursday. They strongly condemned Aam Aadmi Party national convenor Arvind Kejriwal for insulting the Purvanchali voters of Delhi by labeling them as ‘fake’ voters. They asserted that the people of Delhi will give a decisive defeat to Arvind Kejriwal and the Aam Aadmi Party on February 5 in response to this insult.

Shri Sachdeva highlighted that Arvind Kejriwal has repeatedly insulted the brothers and sisters of Purvanchal on several occasions. There is hatred in his heart for the people of Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. He refers to the people of Bihar and UP as a burden on the education system, and at other times, he says they come to Delhi's healthcare services with a ₹500 ticket and leave after burdening Delhi, and today, Arvind Kejriwal went too far by calling the brothers and sisters of Purvanchal ‘fake voters.’

BJP Delhi Pradesh President Shri Sachdeva remarked that no matter how cunning a person may be, the guilt in their heart will eventually expose the truth through their words. For years, Arvind Kejriwal has repeatedly insulted the brothers and sisters of Purvanchal in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar whenever given the opportunity. Arvind Kejriwal should understand that a significant part of Delhi's economy runs on the hard work of the people from Bihar and UP. However, this is something that Arvind Kejriwal will never comprehend. This is the result of their hard work, as whether it is the industry department or other sectors, they play a significant role everywhere. However, today, Arvind Kejriwal made a disgusting statement, revealing the dark truth in his heart by calling the people of Bihar and UP fake voters.

Shri Sachdeva pointed out that all the voters of Delhi, particularly the hardworking people from UP and Bihar, will take revenge for the insult they have faced. They will take this revenge by casting their votes and opposing Arvind Kejriwal. The people will show Arvind Kejriwal the strength of the people from Purvanchal. Delhi is a small India; it belongs to everyone and is not the property of any single individual. Delhi is not anyone’s personal domain. Those who work and live in Delhi, regardless of their class or caste, have as much right to contribute to its development as anyone else. However, due to low-level politics and the fear of losing his position, Kejriwal today refers to the people of Bihar, UP, and Purvanchal as fake voters. The insult that Kejriwal has caused will be avenged by the people of Delhi collectively. On February 5, when the elections are held, the revenge will begin, and on February 8, when the results are declared, the outcome of that revenge will be evident.

BJP MP Shri Manoj Tiwari pointed out that Arvind Kejriwal and the Aam Aadmi Party have a longstanding history of insulting the migrant populations from Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and Jharkhand. On several occasions, they have disrespected these communities and expressed criticism towards Arvind Kejriwal, questioning how he could dare to call the people of Purvanchal ‘Farzi. Kejriwal himself, along with the Aam Aadmi Party’s promises, hoardings, conduct and intentions, are ‘Farzi. Kejriwal had facilitated the creation of fake votes by bringing in illegal Bangladeshi infiltrators and Rohingyas. Migrants from Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and Jharkhand come to Delhi with dignity, work hard, and when they eventually save enough, they buy small plots and build homes. No government in the past decade had caused these migrants as much trouble as the AAP government.

Shri Tiwari remarked that Arvind Kejriwal considers himself the ‘Maalik’ of Delhi, which seems evident as he frequently targets the people of Purvanchal to insult them. Kejriwal, who resides in a ‘Sheesh Mahal’, behaves like the ‘Maalik’ of Delhi. Shri Tiwari accused Kejriwal of attempting to harm him by having his associates push him off the Signature Bridge, endangering his life.

BJP MP Shri Tiwari emphasized that Arvind Kejriwal openly claims that people from Uttar Pradesh and Bihar are fake voters in Delhi. However, Kejriwal must remember that Purvanchalis constitute 42% of Delhi’s electorate. The people would respond to Kejriwal’s remarks on February 5. The residents of Delhi have welcomed migrants from UP, Bihar, and Jharkhand with utmost warmth and acceptance and have provided space and support to them. The migrants from UP, Bihar and Jharkhand earn their place through hard work wherever they go.

Shri Tiwari stated that Kejriwal’s recent actions served as a reminder of the time during the COVID-19 pandemic when he allegedly forced Delhi residents out of their homes, pushing them toward danger. This would make people remember how, under Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji’s ‘Ayushman Bharat Yojana’, individuals can access medical treatment worth up to ₹5 lakh with just a ₹500 ‘ticket’. The scheme enables people to receive healthcare anywhere in the country. Kejriwal does not contribute similarly to Delhi's poor and blocks the ‘Ayushman Bharat Yojana’ from reaching both the underprivileged and the elderly. Kejriwal had failed to provide clean drinking water to Purvanchalis living in unauthorized colonies; this was due to his bias against migrants from Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and Jharkhand.

BJP MP Shri Tiwari asserted that Kejriwal and AAP would face the consequences of their actions on February 5. People from every part of Delhi, who have worked to build the city and promote harmony, would deliver their verdict on that day and show Kejriwal and AAP who the real ‘Farzis’ are.

Shri Tiwari stated that Arvind Kejriwal’s 2019 comment about people having a ₹500 ‘ticket’ and receiving ₹5 lakh worth of treatment highlights his true intentions. What kind of healthcare does Kejriwal offer? This benefit actually comes from Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji’s initiatives and not Kejriwal’s efforts. Kejriwal has banned the Chhath festival celebrations in Delhi and even attempts to cover this up.

BJP MP Shri Tiwari remarked that Kejriwal’s recent remarks have exposed his hostility towards the Purvanchali community. He recalled an incident from 2019, when AAP members allegedly tried to attack him at the Signature Bridge, a project completed under President’s Rule with the support of Hon’ble PM Shri Narendra Modi Ji, which had been initiated by Sahib Singh Verma. Kejriwal views Purvanchalis as nothing more than auto and taxi drivers or slum dwellers, whom he could insult whenever he wished.

Shri Tiwari firmly stated that this behavior of Arvind Kejriwal and AAP would no longer be tolerated. Not only the migrants from Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Jharkhand but also the peace-loving citizens of Delhi, would no longer stand for such disrespect from Arvind Kejriwal.
