Beware illegal immigrants

Shri Lal Krishna Advani, our Deputy Prime Minister, gave the clarion call to compatriots to join hands with the government in identifying illegal immigrants and throwing them out of our beloved Bharat. Indeed those aliens are a grave security risk to our country. The very fact that illegal immigrants are from Pakistan and Bangladesh is in itself a proof of the diabolical designs of adversaries to change the demography of sensitive parts of India. It is time the patriotic Indians acted with a unity of purpose and cleansed our nation of this unholy human pollution.

Just think about it, my dear fellow Indian citizens .Over 11,500 Pakis entered into India on valid travel documents and on expiry of the visa period failed to return to Pakistan. Did they vanish into the cosmos? Of course, they did not. They just melted into crowds of men and women who love to harbour anti-national elements for one reason or the other. Some do it for their mistaken loyalty to their faith and others do it for love of the lucre. Such unpatriotic people have to be identified and dealt with according to law of the land. Those who give shelter to illegal immigrants are as guilty of violating law of the land as the illegal aliens who have chosen to stay on in our country for myriad of reasons. For some it is at the behest of that rogue state called Pakistan and for others it is the greener pastures here than there.

The scene shifts. Lt Gen S.K.Sinha, the Rajyapal of Assam is touring the areas bordering Bangladesh. This belt in Assam is harbouring teeming millions of Bangladeshis who are all illegal immigrants and yet they enjoy the privileges of Indian citizenship. The Governor of Assam is aghast. He minces no words in condemning those elements who connived with foreigners at the cost of their compatriots. The Congress party raises a stink against the constitutional authority for reaping a bumper harvest of their misplaced sympathy at the elections. One wonders what they will do to gain votes of some anti-national elements at the national elections. Some of them have encouraged illegal immigration from Bangladesh and raised their numbers to a staggering figure of 15 millions or so. Oh! How a captive vote bank of the illegal immigrants is made for a party and its cohorts, who care little for the country, is to be seen on the ground to be believed. It is indeed a disgraceful show. Such honorable men and women will do another Shimla Agreement of sorts and give away to the adversary what the Indian Army fought for and won with their blood in the battlefield. Someone from amongst them is waiting in the wings to become Prime Minister of India by any mean, fair or foul. For them, foul is fair and fair is foul.

Indeed illegal immigration is a serious problem. What do we do about it? Well, we can do a lot. Let leaders at various levels go to the People and enlist their support. To begin with, common man in the street has to be apprised of the gravity of the problem and the lurking danger that the country is facing right now. The common man is not safe in the street, not even in his home. The teeming millions of hostile aliens gang up and rob the law abiding citizens. These aliens collaborate with the Intelligence agencies of a hostile country operating from across the border. Our freedom is at stake and we must deal with the danger adequately and appropriately. Like in the days of our big fight against the British imperialists, we need to have a slogan now to bring cohesion among us and generate hatred for the hostile aliens. May I suggest that we begin with the intelligentsia, specially the pseudo-secularists among them, and motivate them to raise this slogan: DRIVE DEMONS OUT . ILLEGAL IMMIGRANT : GO BACK.

Will slogan shouting serve any meaningful purpose, a doubting Thomas may ask. The answer is: YES, it will arouse conscience of classes and masses both. We will walk together, think together and protest together. This togetherness will bring an unprecedented cohesion and will be an eye opener to the blind or semi-blind pseudo-secularists. This cohesion among the people will indeed be a good beginning. Of course, well begun is half done.
Now here is the stage when we, common citizens take the initiative. We strike back at the illegal immigrant and terrorist nexus. The fatal blow can be struck by drying up their financial resources and causing the withdrawal of social support. An illegal alien and a terrorist are now swimming together. Let us create situation where they sink together. Now terrorists, in the garb of promoters of Islamic virtues, are enlisting support of people of the Islamic faith and their fellow-travellers. If we succeed in convincing the common Muslim that Terrorism is doing damage to Islam by incurring the wrath of people all over the world, at least some of them will be weaned away from the illegal immigrant and terrorist phalanx. The voice of people is the voice of God. Vox Populi, Vox Dei. Alien illegal immigrants and terrorists are like fish and people are like water to them. Take the fish out of water and it will die. So, cut people’s support to the illegal immigrant. Results will be rewarding. We should not give any jobs or any kind of employment to the illegal immigrants. I shall go to the extent of not hiring or riding even a cycle-rickshaw driven by these illegal aliens. Please do not allow their women folk to work as maids in the houses. Let there be complete economic boycott by common citizens of the illegal immigrants and they will have no option but to cross the international border again to go back to their country of origin.

Arun Vihar, Noida is a residential colony of ex-servicemen. Their Residents’ Welfare Association has done successful policing of their area by banning the entry of rickshaw-pullers of dubious origin. No rickshaw stand for them is allowed to be established near residential houses. Their entry and exit is under surveillance. With the result the graph of crimes committed by illegal immigrants has shown a perceptible downward trend. It is in contrast with an East Delhi colony where some illegal immigrants committed robbery in an ex- union minister’s house and even injured him. Of course, we will have to abjure the use of inexpensive domestic help provided by illegal immigrants. The example of the United States is worth emulating in this respect. A reputed lady was not confirmed as a candidate for the post of the Attorney General because she had employed an illegal immigrant as a servant sometime back Would our legislature think over enacting a similar law? Will the pseudo-secular parties rise above petty politics and think of ensuring safety and security of the motherland. Indeed, do consider Bharat as your motherland even if you were born elsewhere and have become, willy-nilly, a naturalized citizen.

There is a major problem in identifying illegal immigrants. They have, in many cases, become a part and parcel of the whole through surreptitious means. Some illegal immigrants who have wives in their country of origin have acquired wives here too. On the basis of marriage and through other dubious means some have even acquired ration cards. Corrupt government officials have played a black role in it leading them to acquisition of voting rights. I am ashamed of my fellow Indians who helped some Paki terrorists acquire Indian passports. Of course, role of black money in black deed was crystal clear. Such black sheep should not only be punished through due process of law but must be socially ostracized. In other words “ hukka-pani bund”. The government leaders will have to crack their whip on the nexus of corrupt officials, police men and politicians to weed out spurious ration card holders, foreigners holding Indian passports illegally and bogus voters who managed to enroll themselves through bribery. Again, support of patriotic people will have to be enlisted in this gigantic task. There is no need to be disheartened. Volunteers will be forthcoming provided leaders lead them and ensure that electricity and water connections are not provided to illegal immigrants by wily and petty politicians. Illegal immigrants must be ostracized socially, economically, politically and spiritually.

Some religious institutions of international fame provide employment to illegal immigrants because of religious affinity. They also receive large sums of money in foreign exchange. The financial sleuths will do well to monitor such incomes and expenditures closely. It is time we buried the bogey of non-interference in religious matters of minorities. Let it be understood that nothing matters more than the national security. No infringement of national security rules will be tolerated. Let not mosques and madarsas be converted into hideouts of illegal immigrants, terrorists and mafia of all sorts. A liberal country like the United Kingdom did not have second thoughts in raiding a mosque on its soil where terrorists had taken refuge. The raid was a success. The same yardstick will apply to any other place of worship irrespective of its denomination. Our people have a sacred duty to ensure that a place of worship does not become a place of terror.

Strange it may sound but it is true; some self-styled friends of Pakistan have advocated issue of work permits to illegal immigrants because of their long stay in India. What a sordid logic it is. Instead of bringing the criminal to justice, these pseudo-secularists are advocating not only an honorable acquittal of the criminal but also grant of a reward to him and her. Certainly they have an axe to grind. However, we, the people of India who love India as our motherland will not allow it to happen, come what may.

Media support to our campaign of identifying and expelling the illegal immigrants will go a long way in strengthening the national cause. By and large the media should see the daylight and come out of the limelight. The Indian Media has a good record of championing national causes. They supported the national cause in Kargil. The nation admired both the print media and the electronic media. Many a time there was a near confrontation between the military and the media. The situation was , however, always saved by those who know that media is a force multiplier. Media helped military to win. In identifying and deporting illegal immigrants, Media will surely play a positive role provided it is not rubbed on the wrong side. Should there be a black sheep, just ignore it.

We must resolve here and now not to rest till our mission of doing away with the illegal immigrants is a success. Let us imbibe and practice Yogeshwar Shri Krishna’s advice given to Arjun;

Tasmad uttishth Kaunteya yuddhai krit nishchayah Arise, O son of Kunti, and fight with determination. We Indians are now determined to fight to finish. We will eliminate the problem. We will uproot those who wish to harm us. May God be with our countrymen for ever!
