A tumultuous welcome for Sanjayji From Our Correspondent Shri Sanjay Joshi was accorded a grand welcome Delhi airport and at various points in Delhi on his way to BJP headquarters at Ashok Road to resume his duties as General Secretary (Organisation). “I have always attempted to stick to the best path in politics but there has been consistent efforts to malign my image which ultimately turned futile,” he said at the meeting which was attended by the deputy leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha, Prof Vijay Kumar Malhotra, and Delhi BJP chief Harshvardhan among others. Dr. Harshvardhan said: “Sanjay Joshi has come out clean as a glittering gold. After this incident, stature of Shri Joshi has been enhanced and this is also a moment of glory for the party.”

And ultimately the truth prevailed. The fight for supremacy between the truth and untruth for a while created an illusion for a time as if what was untrue was the truth, but as the truth started unfolding itself the conspiracy got exposed. The light of truth pierced through the dark of conspiracy. The truth is all powerful because it has no ego; it exercises self-control and it always the strength of patience. The untruth keeps company only for a while and after sometime it deserts the individual leading to the ultimate triumph of truth. The example of Shri Sanjay Joshi has only strengthened this reality. An attempt was made at his character assassination with unfounded allegations. The way he faced the situation with truth and honesty on his side, he came out unblemished.

During the Rajat Jayanti celebration of BJP at Mumbai when allegations based on some obscene CD were aired and some people tried to project this falsehood as a synonymous with truth. Shri Sanjay Joshi with a display of self-confidence submitted himself volunteered for an Agnipriksha.

Facts speak for themselves (Report based on reports of Hyderabad Central Forensic Science Laboratory and MP Forensic Science Laboratory) 1. Date of creation of C.D. is 12/12/2005   2. In C.D. audio track was not recorded & no lip movement of the person were noticed.  3. Scars,moles,deformities,injuries on the body could not be observed for positive identification even after video enhancement.  4. It is also noticed that two other male persons cross over in front of the camera   5. The face of the female was masked whenever her face was seen in the video   6. It is observed that continuity of the scene is missing,indicated CD didnot cover uninterupted incident.  7. It is also seen that serval areas there are jumps,cuts,discontinvity,editing of the scene by digital manupulation. 8. It is a compressed video clipping with reducing frame size... OPINION The CD are compressed versions having pixilation,depicting the video,whose frame size is considerably reduced.They have multiple edit points with fade-in and fade-out of images,cuts and abrupt jumps due to digital manipulation etc..and there is considerable discontinuity In the video clippings.Hence it is not possible to opine forensically that the images of male person in both CD & in video footage & in colour photograph belong to the same person   NOTE :- Video footage & colour photograph pertain to same person i.e. Shri Sanjay Joshi..,

After three months of patience, he came out unscathed. Morality won the day. Patience and Dharma had carried the day. Needless to mention that in 1996 people had the chance to witness a similar instance of morality when the BJP veteran Shri L. K. Advani resigned from the parliament just because his name figured in the Hawala Scandal. He declared that till such time he was cleared of the charges he will not fight any election. Ultimately in the case of Shri Advani also the morality won hands down. He took charge of BJP’s destiny and led it to the pinnacle of glory.

Shri Sanjay Joshi is a RSS Pracharak and General Secretary (Organization) of Bhartiya Janta Party. The greatest assets of any RSS Pracharak is his sense of morality and virtuosity. If this asset of a prachark gets tarnished, he is left high and dry, bankrupt. Keeping this in mind on December 24 Shri Sanjay Joshi himself requested the then BJP president Shri Lal Krishna Advani to relieve him of his responsibility as General Secretary (Organization). Again, it was Shri Sanjay Joshi himself who met the RSS leadership and requested them to relieve him of his responsibility as RSS Pracharak till his name was cleared of the charges. After that it was he himself who approached the MP police with the CDs to request them to investigate the matter and bring out the truth before the people. After registering a case the MP police sent the disputed CDs to Central Forensic Science Laboratory at Hyderabad. After a thorough and close examination of the CDs the Laboratory came to the conclusion that it was not Sanjay Joshi who figured in the CD. It opined that the person who figured in the CD did not match with the person of Shri Sanjay Joshi. The police investigations also raised a finger of conspiracy in these disputed CD.

There have been very rare instances of persons in organisation keeping high the flag of morality and sanctity. Sanjayji’s resigning was certainly a blow for the organization but the auspicious Vikrami Samwat New Year day on March 30 ignited the fireworks of joy when Joshiji came out unscathed from Agnipriksha on the strength of moral values and virtue. From day one nobody in the organisation was ready to believe the allegations hurled at him and every body was confident that he will come out clean. Their faith and his patience collectively worked this wonder. As the news of his exoneration spread every where there was an atmosphere of celebration. The workers and leader shared their sense of joy and satisfaction with each other. It was victory of BJP ideology and the special identity every worker was proud of.

In a brief reaction Sanjayji said ultimately justice has prevailed and truth has survived. In the whole episode it appears that a conspiracy had been hatched at character assassination to damage the reputation BJP and RSS. On being established that I was not the person in the CD my innocence had been established. It is all due to the good wishes of lakhs of ‘karyakartas’ and RSS luminaries who had reposed their confidence in me. Their faith and confidence has won.

RSS Sarsangh Karyavah Shri Mohan Bhagwat in a statement clarified that Sangh had not relieved Sanjay Joshi of his responsibility as a Pracharak but it was Sanjay Joshi’s insistence that till his name was cleared he should not function as such. Now that he has been cleared of the allegation he has automatically becomes a part of the Pracharak family.

BJP president Shri Rajnath Singh had on a number of occasions expressed his confidence that Shri Sanjay Joshi was innocent. On receipt of the report of his exoneration Shri Raj Nath Singh reiterated that when reports of the CD appeared I was confident at that time too that Shri Joshi will come out unblemished. It was he who had insisted on an enquiry into the whole matter and till that time wishing to be relieved of his responsibilities in the BJP. He was happy that Shri Sanjay Joshi’s innocence has been proved. Within two days he nominated Shri Sanjay to the post of General Secretary (Organization) lying vacant since then.

The news of his again donning the responsibility of organization sent a wave of jubilation and enthusiasm among the party workers. It was a wave of joy at the triumph of morality, virtuosity and patience. Patience is a characteristics of a man of virtue. A selfish and egoist cannot be patient. A person lacking self-confidence loses his battle. The example set by Sanjay Joshi will always remain a source of inspiration for the lakhs of karyakartas of the country.
