Bharatiya Janata Party National President Shri Amit Shah will begin his three-day visit to Chhatisgarh tomorrow as part of his 110-day country-wide tour programme to energise party cadre.
Shri Shah will reach Raipur at 8:40 am where he will be given a grand welcome. At 11 am he will hold a meeting with MPs, MLAs, State office-bearers, morcha presidents, district presidents and mandal presidents at the state BJP office in Raipur. Later, at 1 pm he will have lunch with Saints at the party office. In the afternoon, Shri Shah will meet the heads of State Morchas and Prakoshth at 3 pm, followed by separate meetings with incharges of Vibhag and Prakalp, Aajeevan Sahyog Nidhi. At 9 pm he will meet party MPs and MLAs.
On June 9, BJP National President will begin his day with the inauguration of Modi-FEST (Making of Developing India) at the Gaus Memorial Ground in the state capital. At 11:30 am in the party office, Shri Shah will hold a meeting regarding Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Birth Centenary celebrations and Karya Vistar Yojana which will be followed by a meeting with State ministers. At 5 pm he will have a meeting with intellectuals and eminent citizens of the State at the Medical College Auditorium, Mekahara Hospital, Raipur.
On June 10, Mr Shah will participate in an event to be organised as part of the NDA Government Swacch Bharat Abhiyan at 8:30 am. He will preside over the party's core committee meeting at the state party office at 9 am. Shri Shah will visit the birthplace of renowned saint Guru Ghasi Das ji at Girodhpuridham, district Baloda Bazar. Shri Shah will address a press conference at Hotel Babylon International at 1 pm, Raipur and meet women beneficiaries of State and Central government schemes to be organised at the Indore Stadium, Raipur at 3 pm.
More than four lakh party workers across the country are working to strengthen the party at booth level as full timer for 15 days, 6 months and one year under Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Birth Centenary Year Karya Vistarak Yojana.
