President of the Bharatiya Janata Party Shri Amit Shah shall be on a three day visit to Maharashtra as a part of the 110-day detailed tour programme to all States.

Shri Shah will reach Chhatrapati Shivaji Airport in Mumbai at 10.10 am on 16th June where he would be accorded a warm and rousing welcome. At 10:45 AM, he would offer floral tribute to eminent personalities such as Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, Dr Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar, Veer Savarkar and Balasaheb Thackeray at the Shivaji Park. At 12 noon, he would meet BJP MPs, MLAs, State office bearers, Morcha Presidents, Presidents of districts and Mandals and other elected representatives at Garware club in Mumbai. At 2:30 pm, he would meet the ministers of state government at the Chief Minister’s residence and at 6:30 pm, he would meet BJP MPs and MLAs from Maharashtra at Sahyadri guest house, Mumbai.

Next day on 17th June, Shri Shah would meet core committee members of the state at 11 am at Vasant Smriti, Mumbai, whereas at 12 noon, he would hold a meeting of departments and committees of the state party. At 3 pm at the same venue Vasant Smriti, he would address the press. In the evening, at 6 pm, he would hold a review meeting of BJP state unit’s activities in the state.

On 18th June at 11:30 am, Shri Shah would hold a meeting of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Birth Centenary year Karya Vistarak Yojana at Sahyadri guest house, Mumbai. He would also review the various programmes being taken by the party to strengthen the party at the booth-level. At 4 pm, Shri Shah would meet eminent intellectuals from Mumbai and discuss with them the party’s ideology and policies and other issues.

Under Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Birth Centenary year Karya Vistarak Yojana, thousands of party workers in Maharashtra are working round the clock to strengthen the BJP at booth-levels. One may recall that more than four lakh party workers in the country have variously pledged to give 15 days, six months or one year as full timers to strengthen the party at the booth level.
