| Statement
issued by Shri Rajnath Singh, The BJP National President Shri Rajnath Singh has accused the UPA Government of compromising the National Security of the nation both on internal and external fronts. In a statement Mr. Singh said that the 250 page charge-sheet filed by the CBI in Navy war-room leak case has come out with startling and shocking disclosures with potential threat perceptions to our over all Defence secrets. The hacking of 7000 pages of defence secrets pertaining to present deployment of Navy, Air Force and Army including paramilitary forces and their future projections by nation's enemies is too serious a matter to be over looked. Similarly reported leaks in National Security Council's secretariat under NSA is equally disturbing. The NSC which was created post Kargil war during NDA government deals with the inputs from vital agencies like RAW, IB, Military intelligence, Defence intelligence agency and an over all assessment of security scenario in the immediate neighbourhood as also global inputs. The BJP demands immediate constitution of a JPC to pinpoint the guilty at bureaucratic and political levels as it fears that some power elements are out to protect the ring-masters of this unparallel espionage in post-independent India threatening our very security and the system. Raids by the CBI after a gap of four months since the FIR was lodged shows that they are out to help the accused destroy vital evidence. The BJP also demands that the UPA government immediately identify the country behind this spy-ring and declare the people concerned 'Persona Non Grate'. This is a wild and weird case, and a bizarre and gloomy episode in the history of defence and security secrecy. The BJP President said that nothing appears to be safe under this government neither the country nor its people and its the story of Total Flop Show since last two years. The sooner it goes the better for the health of the nation. (Shyam
