BJP National President Shri Rajnath Singh and Janata Dal (U) President Shri Sharad Yadav today appointed a six member High Level Committee of MPs and senior leaders to visit Assam and take stock of the violence affected areas and ground level situation there.

The Committee will be led by Shri Kalraj Mishra and the other members are Shri Vikram Verma, Shri Kharvel Swain, Shri Kiren Rijiju, Shri Mahendra Sahani (JDU) and Shri Janardan Sigriwal, Minister from Bihar.

After visiting the areas, the Committee will present its report to BJP President Shri Rajnath Singh and Janata Dal (U) President Shri Sharad Yadav.
