Website on Shri Advani’s Autobiography Launched

BJP President Shri Rajnath Singh today inaugurated a website dedicated to Shri L.K. Advani’s recently released autobiography – My Country My Life. The function, held at the BJP’s headquarters at 11 Ashoka Road, was attended by Smt. Sushma Swaraj, Shri Arun Jaitley, Shri V.K. Malhotra, Shri Ananth Kumar and other senior leaders.

Today, 6 April, is a historically significant date for the BJP. It was on 6 April 1980 that the Bharatiya Janata Party was founded under the leadership of Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee. Hence, the launch of the website has coincided with the auspicious occasion of BJP’s Sthapana Diwas.

Shri Advani’s memoirs have received critical acclaim across India, since the book was released on 19 March 2008 in New Delhi. Thus, given popular demand, both in India and in the international community, it was felt that it would be useful to disseminate some of the salient aspects of Shri Advani’s narrative about his service to the nation and his vision for India.

The attractive new multimedia website offers snapshots of the most interesting features of Shri Advani’s autobiography. It contains reviews, articles, interviews and comments about the book in blogs on the Internet.
