Mandatory Rajat Jayanti Programmes in Every State
§
The ‘Tasks Ahead’ document to be discussed in a
day-long meeting of every state and district unit. Action Plan to be prepared
for Ideological Orientation, Organizational Strengthening & Political
Expansion.
§ Setting targets to make the ‘Sarva Sparshi & Sarva Vyapi’:
Ø Establishing Party Unit at different level.
Ø State units to resolve to set up a Party unit in every district.
Ø District units to resolve to set up a Party unit in every mandal.
Ø Mandal units to resolve to set up a Party unit in every village.
Ø
Morcha units to be established / activated in all
mandals.
Ø Setting membership targets for every mandal unit.
Ø Formation of Gram Kendra & Shahar Kendra.
§ Party Office
Ø A Party office to be set up in every district headquarters.
Ø A building for the Party office to constructed in every state capital.
§ Seva
Ø Every active member and office bearer to identify a ‘seva’ and ‘vikas’ project.
Ø Massive campaign for tree plantation; every primary member to plant a ‘Rajat Jayanti Vruksh’.
Ø Enlisting in State all workers who are running or associated with Seva Projects like education, health etc.

Ø Conferences of all members of the Party at mandal/ block/ constituency levels.
Ø Rajat Jayanti Pledge to taken by every member of the Party.

Ø Massive Adhiveshans at the state level.
Ø Conference of elected representatives in rural areas.
Ø Conference of elected representatives in urban areas.
§ Constitution of Booth-Level Party Committees for election planning and management.
§ “Gaon Gaon Chalo – Ghar Ghar Chalo Abhiyan” as per the convenience of each state and district unit, with the participation of all the MPs, MLAs and leading Party functionaries. The abhiyan requires the participants to –
Ø Visit every village/ward/colony/slum in their district;
Ø Hoist the Party Flag on a permanent pole in every village/ward/colony;
Ø Hold a meeting in a rural cluster and spend the night in a village.
§ Membership Drive by the Yuva Morcha in every mandal, with special focus on reaching out to college and university students.
§ Programmes to honour all the martyrs and heroes of the Freedom Movement (national, regional and local) and other major democratic movements, and those who have sacrificed their lives in terrorist attacks.
§ BJP-run state governments to launch special schemes and programmes, with a thrust on the rural and urban poor, in consultation with the Party unit in the state.

Propagation of Party literature in all languages.
Bringing out special issues of our regular publications.
Main Objectives of the Commemorative Programmes
Political
consolidation & expansion:
> Fortifying existing strongholds.
> Revival in places where we have suffered a setback.
> Reaching out to new social groups and geographic areas.
> Massive primary membership drive.
Organisational strengthening:
> Activating responsible functionaries.
> Activating Party units at every level.
> Activating Morchas / Cells at every level.
> Formation of gram kendras and shahar kendras..
> Greater interaction between elected representatives and karyakartas
> Developing a better feedback mechanism.
Ideological orientation:
> Reaching the main ideological message to all active members.
> Thrust on unity, discipline and team spirit among leading functionaries.
> Fixing accountability among senior functionaries, office-bearers and elected representatives at every level.
> Manifestation of ‘Karyakarta-Tatva’ -- Ethos of an Ideal BJP Activist.
> Making all state/district/mandal functionaries subscribers to BJP TODAY and BHAJPA SAMACHAR.
> Integrating ‘Seva’ and ‘Vikas’ activities in every active Party member’s work.
Preparatory Work
· Responsibility for implementing and monitoring the above Action Plan to be assigned to a central-level ‘Rajat Jayanti Karyanvayan Samiti’.
· State office-bearers to hold a one-day meeting in April to prepare a comprehensive plan to commemorate the Rajat Jayanti Year in their state. Responsibility for implementing and monitoring it to be assigned to a state-level ‘Rajat Jayanti Karyanvayan Samiti’.
· District-wise meetings to be held for the same purpose in April-May. Responsibility for implementing and monitoring it to be assigned to a ‘Rajat Jayanti Karyanvayan Samiti’ at the district level. A central leader to attend full-day meeting of every district committee.
· Mandal-wise meetings to be held for the same purpose in May-June. A state leader to attend full-day meeting of every mandal.
