Rajnath criticises attack on Mamata BJP president Rajnath Singh charged here on Sunday that there is no law and order in West Bengal, while condemning the alleged firing attack on Trinamul Congress leader Mamata Banerjee. According to BJP central office sources, Mr Singh has tried to speak to Ms Banerjee on mobile phone. However, she was not reachable. "What has happened in Nandigram is continuing non-stop even now. The Communists should first set right their party and the law and order situation will then improve," Mr Singh has reportedly said. Mr Singh expressed concern over incidents of violence in Nandigram where the NDA constituent Trinamul Congress has been spearheading a movement against the chemical hub. "Communists usually talk about common man's welfare. I advise them to take their talk seriously and keep in mind the common man in a state under their government." |
